How to Keep Curly Hair from Tangling

Many young people now like the curly wave style, it will make us look younger and more fashionable. But long curly hair is easy to tangle and difficult to comb, everyone should follow these tips to help prevent snarls.

1.Brush Before Washing

Before washing, gently slide a wide-toothed comb or soft brush through your hair. This helps prevent tangle from forming when you wash your hair.

2.Always Condition After Shampooing

Use a lot of conditioner on your hair and massage, paying particular attention to the ends. Use your fingers to remove any tangls you encounter. After the massage is complete, use a wide tooth comb to gently comb your hair. The conditioner should help the comb slip smoothly through the hair strands.

3.Dry Gently

Beware of the “towel turban” as the twisting motion can cause tangling or breakage. Dry your hair with a rough towel isn't the best idea either. Wrap your hair in a soft towel and gently squeeze excess moisture out of the bundle.

4.Seal Your Ends

After conditioning, spread a sealant over the tips of your hair to lock in moisture. This step will also help avoid snarls as it keeps your ends from twisting around themselves.

5.Put Hair Up Before Exercising

It's best to comb your hair or put it in a ponytail when you play outdoors. The aim is to limit the movement of the hair to reduce the chance of friction.

6.Use Wind Protection

When the wind is blowing, it can blow your hair into a mess in seconds. Wear a hat or scarf to protect your hair from these elements.

7.Wear the Sleep Cap

Hair can be squeezed and messy at night, so please braid the hair and put it before your chest or wear the sleep cap before you sleep, or the hair will be matted badly when you wake up.

Beautiful, smooth hair can be yours by following these easy tips. Preventing tangles means you’ll spend less time on your hair and more time enjoying your favorite activities.
